The arrangements for the listing and hearing of cases and applications in the different High Court lists, as outlined in the President’s Notice of 30 September, 2022, which have worked well, will continue in place until further notice, subject to any necessary changes and alterations determined by the judge in charge of the relevant list, in consultation with the President of the High Court.
Please also note the following:
(1) Master’s Court
The arrangements for the listing and hearing of applications in the Master’s Court are as set out in Practice Direction HC117.
(2) Commercial Planning and SID List
A draft Practice Direction which will revoke Practice Directions HC 107 and HC 114 and set out the arrangements for the listing and hearing of cases and applications in the Commercial Planning and SID List has been prepared and is currently the subject of a consultation process with interested parties. Practitioners and litigants should regularly consult the Practice Directions section of the courts.ie website where, once finalised, the new Practice Direction for this list will be published.
I would like to thank all practitioners and litigants for their ongoing cooperation with the arrangements which were set out in the President’s Notice of 30 September, 2022, which will continue for the Hilary Term and until further notice. I reserve the right to alter these arrangements should it be necessary to do so.
